June 17th

thanks for coming to the Bharmacy in support of us and The Musik Box. we all had a great time and look forward to playing more shows there. our next performance is Wednesday, June 17th with The Ballroom Catastrophe and a really great touring band out of Portland, OR. come give them a warm Texas reception. $5, all ages. ain't it cool?...

iLike

another music hosting site, iLike, is the newest place to check out our latest track. sign up for free with the site and follow us just as easily as you would on any other networking utility. here's the excpetion, however: we can track how much you love us (and that always feels really good). don't wanna do it? then at least listen to the track on our MEDIA page.

Uploaded Track

Myspace is now host to a newly recorded track of ours courtesy of Gino (Fell from Grace Productions). it's an 8-minute epic saga of lush ambience, but we think you'll enjoy listening to it (or half of it or most of it) as much as we love playing it. flyers are circulating for our June 6th show if you'd like to get your hands on a hardcopy (Hogwild, Olmos Bharmacy, etc.). we've also been informed of a possible June 27th benefit performance at Salute on N. St. Mary's St. (more details as they become available). oh, and we're Tweeting now...

Scratch

we have a live performance from our most recent practice session recorded thanks to Gino. he'll be delivering said track shortly and it will be up on both this site and Myspace for your listening pleasure. in the immediate future, look for a lot more new recorded material more representative of what we call Espera.

The Ten Eleven (formerly The Warhol)

in addition to us and The Pink Snowflakes, Ballroom Catastrophe will also be performing on June 17th at the Ten Eleven. to clear up any confusion, the Ten Eleven changed its name from the Warhol due to some issue or other. everything's the same but the name. see you then if we don't see you June 6th.

Olmos Bharmacy (update)

Gino of Musik Box will be opening for us at our June 6th performance. additionally, he'll be DJing before and between sets, so expect a great night of rare new wave and shoegaze music. in regards to the bar, it only has a license to serve beer and wine, and as such needs to be done selling by 1 a.m.; therefore, this musical event will start at 9 p.m. and finish at 12:30 a.m. yes, it's an early show, but gives you plenty of time to catch that elusive last call elsewhere, or turn in early for a beautiful Sunday breakfast. we'll see you there.

New Show in June

we've just secured another performance for the beginning of June at the historic Olmos Pharmacy, now dubbed the Bharmacy (clever). we're always into playing new venues not only for our sake, but for the sake of our listeners who may be tired of the same old San Antonio haunts. the Olmos Bharmacy serves beer and wine and boasts a NO COVER motto. check out their Myspace and picture yourself there at our next show.

May 2nd Line Up Confirmed

our may 2nd show is complete with a total of 4 bands on the bill: The Music Box, The Dry Season, Us (of course), and Hearts Fail. The show is less than a week away and we're really eager to play with such a great set of bands.

Blue Bubble Ballroom

as of now, the confirmed lineup for the may 2nd show is as follows: The Dry Season and Heartsfail. Candybomb has been asked to perform, but their placement on the bill is currently uncertain. we will let you know more details as they are made available.

A Show of Fans and Friends

thanks to those of you who came out to celebrate our music and the birthday of one of our greatest fans. our april 17th performance at g.i.g. was well-received as always and we'd like to thank chris and lin for unendingly providing us with opportunities to play.
